Every year, Denmark attracts several million tourists, and it is an industry with a turnover of several billion kroner.
One of the companies that tourists may come across in the future is Stayseat, which makes cushions with heat in them, which i.a. must warm up guests at outdoor restaurants with a lower climate footprint than heat lamps. According to admin. director and co-founder Jon B. Sødergreen, climate awareness is an important building block in the company.
“Sustainability is the main ingredient and the all-dominant. For us, it's about helping to create a new standard, where we don't heat areas like heat lamps do, but we heat people," says Jon B. Sødergreen.
"In terms of energy in the operational phase, it is a clearly better solution"
